The laboratory at Al Ahalia Hospital in Hamdan is the first private lab in the area to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), setting a standard for the caliber and promptness of test results.
The lab functions 24 hours and 7 days a week. It is equipped with fully automated and computerized, modern equipment with stringent quality control covering all sections of Pathology and provides a comprehensive Test menu with accurate, fast results for the effective treatment of our Patients.
The Lab is manned by a team of well-qualified, experienced HAAD-licensed Pathologists and well-trained and experienced technical staff.
The Department works hard as a team and strives to continually improve its Quality with stringent local inspections DOH and College of American Pathologists inspections, JCI inspections and ISO 9001-2015 inspections. The department is always updated through participating in CMEs, quality and other professional courses.
