Dr Pawan Raj completed his Undergraduation at prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and Postgraduation in Neurology from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, India , After Graduating he has received Speciality Certificate from Royal College of Physicians (UK) and Membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences ,India He has served as Associate Professor of Neurology in Father Muller Medical College , Mangalore and has 4 years of teaching experience in teaching Neurology to Undergraduate and Post graduate Students. He has Clinical experience in Managing Neurology unit with 800-1000 inpatient admissions per year and has managed Neurology ICU during his tenure.

He has also served as visiting consultant for many private hospitals of South Canara and Kasargod districts and has extensive experience in treating patients with neurological disorders He has published multiple articles pertaining to neurology is various national and international journals and is author of chapters in neurology for multiple medical textbooks He has worked as editorial member of IP Indian Journal of Neurosciences Is Life member of Indian Academy of Neurology, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Indian Epilepsy Society, Indian Society for Sleep Research, Indian Medical Association and European Academy of Neurology
