Dr Tuman Krishnan is a specialist in internal medicine. His areas of interest are in diseases of the Heart, Lungs,Kidney,Stomach,Diabetes,Hypertension,thyroid, and liver diseases as well as neurological illness and allergy. He prides himself on listening to his patients, and he has an excellent bedside manner.Currently working as an Internal medicine specialist at Al-Ahalia Hospital Hamdan Abu Dhabi.
Dr TumanUnniKrishnan gained his medical qualification (MBBS) from Tver State Medical Academy in 2004. He has since undertaken an MD in General Medicine from Vinayaka Missions University (2014) and CCEBDM (Certificate Course in Evidence-Based Diabetes Management) in 2016. In 2019, he gained a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) and in 2021, he undertook training in Covid 19 and the pulmonary system. Most recently, he has trained in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support with the American Heart Association.
He is board-certified in internal medicine and is licensed by the DHA and DOH. He has extensive experience in secondary care in multispecialty hospitals and critical care in ICUs. In 2016, he gained an award from the International Human Rights Association as ‘best physician of 2016’.
Dr Krishnan is also involved in medical research and has a publication in an international medical journal focusing on the comparison of dyslipidemia in normal and high BMI populations in rural Tamil Nadu.
He is multi-lingual and speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu and Russian.
