Al Ahalia Hospital Mussafah is ISO 15189 accredited laboratory and established a benchmark for quality and fast turnaround of reports. The lab functions 24 hours and 7 days a week. It is equipped with fully automated and computerized, modern equipment with stringent quality control covering all sections of Pathology and provides a comprehensive Test menu with accurate, fast results for the effective treatment of our Patients.
The laboratory utilizes total lab automation and integrated solutions across all lab subspecialties. The central laboratory is divided into the core lab, the unified anatomic pathology lab, and the clinical microbiology lab. The Lab is manned by a team of well-qualified, experienced HAAD-licensed Pathologists and well-trained and experienced technical staff. The Department works hard as a team and strives to continually improve its Quality with stringent local inspections DOH and ISO 15189 inspections and JCI inspections.
The department is always updated by means of participating in CMEs, quality, and other professional courses.
