The Department of Neurology in Ahalia Hospital offers expansive treatment and care for all neurological disorders. This department handles regular outpatient neurological problems as well as neurological emergencies like acute ischemic strokes, and intracranial bleeds (traumatic and non-traumatic), The Neurology team is highly qualified, and experienced and manages patients as per internationally accepted, evidence-based protocols. Neurologists are experienced to administer botulinum toxin injections for various movement disorders and spasticity. The department of neurology is supported by EEG, EP-( vep, ssep, baer ), NCS, and EMG. The department works in collaboration with all other specialties to contribute their surgical experiences to build all over improvements.

All the above procedures are done in the neurodiagnostic lab. Patients with neurological disorders like Stroke, Demyelination, Seizure, Epilepsy, Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis, and Meningitis will be admitted to an In-Patient ward or ICU for medical management. The patient is discharged by the physician when the physiological status is stabilized and hospital-based treatment is no longer required.
