Department of Plastic Surgery

The specialty of Plastic Surgery caters to the management of a seemingly unrelated wide spectrum of clinical conditions. Very major limb-saving plantations and revascularizations as well as very fine and delicate cosmetic procedures come under the purview of this surgical specialty. At Ahalia hospital, we are equipped and happily ready to manage any condition that demands the expert intervention of a plastic surgeon. We are working as a team with the Emergency Care Department and the allied specialties of General. Surgery and Orthopedics, the department helps in the management of patients who incur traumatic accidents on the road, worksite, or at home.

We surgically manage acute injuries to the tendons, nerves, and blood vessels of the limbs and cosmetically repair wounds of the face in cases of traumatic injuries. We have an excellent team, with expertise and experience in reconstructive and microvascular surgery, successfully managing even injuries and tissue defects that need complex reconstructive solutions. All major cosmetic surgeries that come under the scope of the specialty are done at our center, with the backing of state-of-the-art equipment and operation theatre facilities. Our team has a special interest in cosmetic surgeries like rhinoplasty, body contouring surgeries including liposuction, abdominoplasty, fat grafts, and cosmetic breast surgeries. In line with the current best practice, we are on our way to expanding our services to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures too, hoping to give our clients a holistic and comprehensive experience while addressing their cosmetic concerns.
