She has Medical graduation from M E S Medical College, perinthalmanna, Kerala and post-graduation from Yenepoya deemed to be a university,Karnataka.

She has been working in the pulmonology department in Karnataka,India,in reputed teaching institutionsfrom 2015-2023.

She is involved in both inpatient and outpatient care.She gained experience in diagnosing and managing acute and sub-acute respiratory problems like acute asthma, acute exacerbation of COPD, pulmonary thromboembolism, hemoptysis, tuberculosis and MDRTB, pneumonia, pneumothorax, acute respiratory failure, etc. She got trained in performing pulmonary procedures like Bronchoscopy,Pleural aspiration, biopsy, Intercostal tube thoracostomy, interpreting chest X-rays,pulmonary function tests, Allergy tests, and Arterial blood gas analysis.
