Currently practicing in Abu Dhabi at Ahalia Hospital (from 2012 march onwards) as Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon.

Nature of practice:

Am heading the department of dentistry,

My daily practice includes major and minor oral surgical procedures and implantology.

Routine Minor oral procedures are complicated teeth extraction, odentectomies, and bony pathologies correction. Soft tissue procedures include frenectomies, sialotomies, cyst excisions and other oral pathology ailment care in outpatient setup and inpatient.

Major maxillofacial procedures include trauma, space infections and orthognathic procedures.

Am on call for all oral and maxillofacial injury management.

I am practising dental implantlogy , I perform partial and full mouth implant procedures. Systems

used are straumann, and Bego

I accept all referrals for oral and maxillofacial consultation and procedures.

Greenview, Medical Centre , Apollo Clinic and at manipal cure and care multispecialty health

centre as consultant Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon

Nature of Job:

• At Manipal Hospital, and Apollo Hospital and Greenview, I operate on Orthognathic cases, temperomandibular disorders, various Oral and Maxillofacial diseases which includes cysts and tumors  of the jaws, premalignant and malignant lesions of oral region and facial trauma of all grades, and Implants which include Noble Biocare systems, Endopore systems, Zimmer systems and Biohorizon systems.
• At Apollo Clinic and Manipal Cure and Care centre, Koramangala, Bangalore, I perform minor Oral surgical procedures which include, apoicectomies, third molar extractions, cyst enucleation and dental implants

2003: Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vishnu Dental College and Hospital, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

1997 to 1998: Had my Dental Clinic in Shimoga, wherein multi specialty practice was followed.

Member of American association of implant dentistry from 2013 onwards

Master of Dental Surgery (1999-2002), A.B. Shetty Dental College and Hospital, Mangalore, Karnataka.

• A three year integrated course, wherein I had excellent opportunity to work with great surgeons like Dr Stein Hauser, Dr John Carter and Dr Herman Zailer. During the term, I underwent special training in Surgical Oncology at Regional Cancer Centre in Trivandrum for one month, Plastic and  Micro Vascular Surgery at Specialist Hospital in Cochin, for one month and Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Justice K.S.Hegde Charitable Hospital for two years. Also, I worked as a resident in the Department of Neurosurgery, Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Orthopedic Surgery and Otolaryngology as a part of postgraduate training.

Clinical dissertation on application of Poly-L-lactide Mini Plates and Screws in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,

with 10 cases of Bimaxillary Orthognathic procedures, wherein resorbable plates were used for plating sagittal split Osteotomies. The result were overwhelming, with no cases of relapse and no inflammatory conditions. The study was done for the period of three years.

Clinical Study of Fibro Osseous Lesions of the Jaws, a clinicopathologic study of the nature of the fibro osseous

lesions and classifying depending on their pathogenesis. The study duration was for 2 years.

Paper presentation done on Bioresorbable Plates at AOMSI Conference, 2002.

Attended International Conference of Cleft Lip and Palate, at Goa, in the year 2001.

Participated in Advanced symposium on Craniomaxillofacial Reconstruction by AO Foundation in September 2009

Extra Curricular activities:

Worked as Camp Coordinator for International Cleft Lip and Palate Association, Zurich, and Smile Train, U.S.A and for Karnataka Rotary Association.
