This minimally invasive surgery takes the help of a small endoscopic camera and several long, thin and rigid instruments. There are scopes going through small incisions or natural body openings to ensure that diagnosis and treatment is done with minimum invasion on body cavity. This is also called keyhole surgeries.

In these surgeries, the patients also can go back home from the hospital in less number of days.There are no harmful noted side effects of minimally invasive surgeries apart from some amount of discomfort felt at the areas of incision for a few days after the surgery.
